Quietly, invisibly — women are leaving tech. Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just... fading out.

And not because they "want more balance."
Not because they "lack confidence."
And definitely not because they are not good enough.

They are leaving because after 10, 15, even 20 years of building careers, they are still hitting walls they were told had been torn down.

  • Promotions that never materialise
  • Pay that doesn’t match performance
  • Work that lacks visibility
  • Feedback that says, “You’re great, but not quite ready yet.”

And this isn’t anecdotal. The new Lovelace Report just confirmed it:

🔹 80% of women in tech are planning to leave.
🔹 50% earn less than their male peers at the same level.
🔹 70%+ say leadership roles feel out of reach — even after training.
🔹 Only 3% cited family as the reason for leaving.

Let that sink in.

This isn’t a pipeline problem.

It’s a progression problem.

It’s a system that still wasn’t built with women in mind — and we are collectively feeling the cost.

As someone who works with women in tech/STEM this hit deep.
Not just because of the data, but because of the DM, messages, emails or late-night coaching calls.

Brilliant, exhausted women whispering: “I don’t know how much longer I can do this.”

So, I’m doing something about it.

I'm inviting you to a 60-minute session that needs your voice, your experience and your presence to unpack the Lovelace Report

Join me Friday 8th August 12.30pm on Zoom

 It’s not a panel. It’s a conversation. It’s your space.
